Posters designed for Burnley and Pendle community safety partnerships to encourage sensible drinking during the 2010 World Cup. Incidents of violence traditionally rise during the World Cup season; the challenge was to encourage good practice rather than appear preachy or disapproving of people enjoying themselves. A range of ideas were produced for the campaign in sketch format; a couple of these concept sketches were later used as press ads. The campaign helped reduce the numberof domestic violence during the World Cup.

In keeping with the football theme, this job was a real team effort: a special man-of-the-match mention must go to Richard who bravely posed in bandages and bruises for this campaign.
